Ella is a farm girl who enjoys working with animals and tending to the farm. She is being raised by her family with strong values. Chaos is what Ella confronts while trying to comprehend these pivotal values. Classified as the Girl of Literature, Ella is a book enthusiast. Ella’s father rewards her for good work at school and chores on the farm by taking her to the pet shop where he purchases a pet bird and a frog.

Ella names the bird Doris, and Quibbit is the name of the frog.

But Quibbit is not quite right.

Ella is regretting accepting Quibbit the frog as her pet.
