With No Sweat at All by Alisa Velaj
In this book With No Sweat At All of the author Alisa Velaj, we would recognize that this collection of poems represents a qualitative level of maturity of the author, compared to herself in the entire process of nearly two decades of her poetic creation.
Poems do not come simply as instant or spontaneous releases of the soul, but structured according to a clear poetic thought, with a sustained and deliberate authorial awareness.
Also the elements we brought to the fore as values and related to postmodernistic traits, such as: dialogue of texts (intertextuality), the loose format of the poetic structure, the treatment of major themes of love and spirituality, give Velaj an honorable place in Albanian postmodern poetry, although, we remain of the view that what the reader needs is not a poem that is limited within a literary direction or current, Just a beautiful poem.
