Entirely, to Charlotte, Peter Cooley, an English Literature Professor at Ravenwood University teaches English Literature in Burlington, Vermont, thrives in the realm ofpoetry, prose, and love. He dedicates his life to teaching and writing poetry and prose. However, his love and fondness for an old middle school sweetheart, Charlotte Reid, an art and literature professor at the university, often interrupts his work.

The author narrates Peter Cooley's story, sharing his love and fondness for Charlotte Reid and poetry.
